There is no doubt that Caleb is a Cranky Old Geezer in the finest sense of the phrase. When confronted by a whippersnapper, Caleb does not hesitate to show the miscreant the error of his ways. One can only wonder at the cause of Caleb's righteous wrath. Some believe that the youngun' was trifling with the affections of Caleb's daughter. Others think that he was caught watering down Caleb's mint julip. Still others swear that the young man was revealed to be a Yankees fan. What we can be sure of is that after a quick conversation with Caleb, he is sure to be back on the straight and narrow.
