  • Don't get in line until you have everything you're going to buy. Don't leave your husband/wife/boyfriend/girlfriend/dog/roommate/invisible friend with a basket with 4 items while you're out scurrying around picking up another $400 worth of stuff and then come back expecting to shove your way in front.
  • And read the sign over the express lane. The 28 items in your basket is not the same as 15 or less.
  • And don't park your damn cart in the middle of the aisle when you're trying to figure out what to buy. Put it on one side or the other so the rest of us can get by it without banging into it.
